The verb To Be

HOW TO TEACH: THE VERB TO BE

I'm going to explain many ways to teach the verb To Be. 

There are different activitites. It could be made individually or in groups.

1) Introducing the verb To Be 

I am                               We are

You are                         You are

She is                            It is

He is

                      They are

2) Routines: children have to talk about themselves, the date, the weather, their birthdays, their favourite subject, their pets etc.

3) Children have to draw themselves and write their name. It would be an individual activity.

4) Pupils have to do a cooperative work on a poster. They have to complete it.
