How to improve your listening
The only thing that people need to improve their level of english is improving their listening. I know that it sounds weird, but it is the principal skill of one language.
In fact, when you are going to learn a new language, teacher need to teach you the 4 language skills in order.
- First of all, listening
- Secondly, speaking
- Thirdly, reading
- Finally, writing
Listening is usually taught with many records of CDs, but from my point of view, people do not only learn listening hearing many records but also listening to native people or people who know how to speak english.That's the reason why english teachers have to talk always in english during the class.
Many things that you will need to improve your listening in class:
- Listening and talking with the teacher in english
- Hearing songs, dialogues, vocabulary etc.
